Microsoft has released Math Solver. It is designed for solving mathematical problems and teaching mathematics.

Math Solver uses an artificial intelligence system that is responsible for finding the correct solutions to equations, calculations, and statistics. The app can also show you the solution to a problem so that it’s easier to see how you got the right answer.

You can enter a problem or formula using a scientific calculator or by handwriting on the screen. You can also use the camera and scan formulas written in a notebook or somewhere else. The app recognizes the mathematical symbols and translates them into a form the artificial intelligence system can understand. The same scanning technology is used when working with documents in Microsoft’s mobile office applications.

Math Solver shows the user several ways to solve a problem or formula, so they can evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches. In addition, the app contains tutorials on various areas of mathematical science, including videos in different languages.

Allows you to solve radicals and exponents, fractions, matrices, determinants, quadratic equations, systems of equations, inequalities, rational expressions, linear, square and exponential graphs, etc.

Key benefits of Microsoft Math Solver:

  • Writing your problem on the screen, just as you would normally do on paper.
  • Scanning your hand-written example with pictures.
  • Typing and editing using an advanced scientific math calculator.
  • Getting interactive step-by-step solutions and graphs.
  • Import photos of problems directly from the gallery.
  • Scanning and solving entries with multiple problems at once.
  • Search for similar examples and video-lectures online.
  • Test what you’ve learned.
  • Scan and build x-y data tables for linear / non-linear functions.
  • Getting help in different languages.
